The name (in case you haven’t guessed) is Navjot Singh Sandhu (aka Joti, aka Joe and for one idiot cousin – Navajo Jo). Born May 27th 1977 (yea SHUTUP) in the good old US of A and brought up back in the land of five rivers (That’s Panj-aab, India) between the age of 5 and 13. Currently living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest (Washington State) along with my family. Happily married for the last 4 years with a 2 year old son.
I have worked in the Electronics, Computers and IT industry in the past with over 10 years experience ranging from Electronics manufacturing and repair (component to systems level) to Web Development, Programming (PHP, ColdFusion, ASP, SQL).
In 2007, I got tired sitting in front of a computer for long hours as it was beginning to take a toll on my health and decided to end that career right then and there. I made a switch to an Industry that was entirely new to me – Retail & Hospitality. Gas Stations, Convenience Stores and Hotel’s to be specific. Ironically the same industry that I used to mock Indians for always getting into. To keep things short, I really enjoy this line of work and haven’t looked back since.
My interests are quite random. I really enjoy Music, Photography and Videography (why is this not a real word?) for fun. Over the time I have collected enough gadgets to open a production studio! (but where is the fun in that)
I have ALWAYS been fond of Airplanes, but not just any airplane. Specifically, certain Boeing aircraft such as the 747, 777 and 757, the beautiful Douglas MD-11, Lockheed L-1011, the workhorse Bombardier (de Havilland) Dash 8 Q series and impressive Airbus A380 (Sorry A380 but the 747 will always be classier and more beautiful to me). I don’t know why but those are the planes that always impress me.
It is probably worth a while to mention that at one point I had the most popular and most extensive photo gallery website dedicated to the development and production of the Airbus A380 on the web.
From time to time I still enjoy working on web related stuff for fun but that’s about it. So I wouldn’t really count on much happening with this site either.
I don’t know what else to say here as I am not a writer so I will end it here for now.
